Some think we talk funny, but Mississippi has had some of the world’s greatest people born and raised here; Eudora Welty, William Faulkner, Elvis, Brett Favre, Miss Oseola McCarty, Steve “Air” McNair, and John Grisham to name a few.  Of course there is Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones and the late Jim Henson.  Yes, Mississippi!  As you look here, it is our hope that you see what a wonderful state this is, filled with talent that other states yearn for!
